The Society for Atmosphere Solutions is a volunteer-run Canadian charity guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, a number of advisors and volunteers, and coordinated by a part-time Executive Director. We represent over 220 members throughout the Sunshine Coast and Sea to Sky region. Our purpose is to protect air quality and undertake climate action that will enhance the quality of life for current and future generations.
Specifically, to:
- Deliver and participate in projects and programs designed to protect and improve air quality in the Sunshine Coast and Sea to Sky regions and beyond,
- Coordinate initiatives that have both air pollutant and GHG reduction co-benefits, and build awareness of such in the public, and
- Conduct research related to air quality and climate change, and share the results with the public.
