Two Metro Vancouver libraries say there has been astronomical demand for carbon dioxide monitors after they began stocking them last month. The tiny monitors, update with the amount of carbon dioxide in the air every few minutes, measured in parts per million (ppm). Interesting!! we are still trying to clean up our air in the BC Gulf Islands, wear a respirator if you visit in the winter, there is way way WAY too much wood burning ...no bylaws protect our health from this archaic practice. it is NOT paradise as advertised.
